What we finance
Four types of vessel's we fund
These are the vessel types we fund for UK owners and operators, each backed by the right lender for the hull. And if none of them is quite the right fit, we'll help you find what is.

Motor yachts & cruisers
Flybridge, sports and trawler cruisers for private owners — acquisition, part-exchange equity and refinance against the vessel.
Typical range · £50k – £5m
Sailing yachts
Bluewater cruisers, catamarans and performance yachts for private owners and charter management — hire purchase, lease or refinance.
Typical range · £25k – £3m
RIBs, sportsboats & day boats
RIBs, sports and day boats for private owners, watersports businesses and charter fleets, including multi-boat purchases.
Typical range · £10k – £1m
Commercial vessels & refits
Workboats, passenger and commercial craft for operators, plus repowers, refits and equipment funded over the life they add to the vessel.
Typical range · £25k – £2m

How it works
From first call to handover.
- 01
Discovery call
Ten to twenty minutes on the vessel, the use and your timing. No paperwork to get started, and no obligation.
- 02
Structured and placed
We prepare the case the way a marine credit committee wants to read it — the hull, survey, use and ownership structure — then approach the lenders most likely to compete for it.
- 03
Terms to compare
You receive indicative terms side by side — rate, term, fees and conditions — with a clear recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
- 04
Underwriting to handover
We manage the survey, marine title, lender queries and documentation through to completion, then stay on as your boating and fleet grow.
The numbers
See the shape of the repayment before you speak to anyone.
Move the sliders to model an amortising facility. It is a starting point for the conversation — not a quote, and not a credit decision.
Total repayable
£315,028
Cost of credit
£65,028
Indicative monthly repayment
£5,250
The deposit comes off the vessel price, and the figures below the sliders are worked out on the amount actually borrowed. Estimates assume a fixed-rate amortising loan with an optional balloon payment and no fees. Arrangement fees, valuations and lender-specific terms are quoted separately.
Why Alti
Judgement, not a lender list.
“Almost every buyer that walks away empty-handed was fundable. It was just sent to the wrong place, in the wrong shape.”
Whole-of-market, not a panel of three
Banks, challenge lenders and specialist marine financiers — chosen case by case, rather than whoever pays us most.
Structured before it is shopped
Marine credit decisions are rarely about appetite. They are about how the case is presented — the vessel, the survey and the use — and we present it properly.
Fees agreed in writing
Every fee is set out and signed off before we submit anything to a lender. No surprises at drawdown.
One point of contact
The person who takes your first call runs the file through to delivery. You never re-tell your story to a call centre.
Who we fund
Start an enquiry
Three questions and we're moving.
Tell us what you need and we'll come back with either questions, a route to funding, or a straight answer that we can't help. No credit search, no obligation, no cost to find out.
